HISTORY

VMPCRadio began as an experimental service in late 2019 but it was stopped at the onset of the Pandemic. The service resumed in 2021 and it slowly transitioned its service a year later. After acquiring a small transmitter, VMPCRadio kicked off test broadcasts in May of 2023 and the station soft launched on Independence Day (June 12, 2023) as VMPCRadio 89.5 FM. 89.5 used to be the former frequency of Our Radio 89.5 Mix FM, a local FM station in Binangonan under the MBC-Radyo Natin network when it began in 2003 and lasted until 2004. The station began its livestream on August 21, 2023 through Zeno and it is currently accessible on various radio streaming directories such as Online Radio Box, Streema, and Radio Addict. Operations were slowly expanded to fulfill the needs of the listeners with the inclusion of JazzTrax on Saturdays which broadcast operations ends at past 2pm.

After two years, on July 1, 2025, the branding has been updated as VMPCRadio 89.5 Mix FM, the same sound, format and programming now in a updated branding inherited from the Mix FM brand that has been in existence on Philippine Radio for some years, including in Davao City where the original Mix FM was born, and in Oton, Panay, and a homage to the previous ownership of the station through the efforts of Ms. Ana Blanco and her team back in the day when the original 89.5 Mix FM was lasted for more than  a year.

At present, VMPCRadio 89.5 Mix FM offers the latest and up-to-date news and information from around the world, as well as publc affairs programming, commentaries and talk shows, music programming, and spiritual-based contents daily on-air and online in audio form. VMPCRadio 89,5 Mix FM is a community-driven, non-profit, non-commercial radio service, reaching out and communicating with the community we serve.

A community-driven Christ-centered, NOT-FOR-PROFIT, and NON-COMMERCIAL radio broadcast platform that aims to inform, entertain, educate, and inspire every Filipino worldwide.

MISSION

To create and provide contents that are wholesome, engaging, and interacting  with the listeners wherever and whenever they can through THE AIRWAVES LINK, THE BRIDGE TO COMMUNICATION, both on-air and online.
