February 8-10: The shear line will continue to affect the country, particularly Southern Luzon and Visayas. On Saturday, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms. By Sunday and Monday, not only Southern Luzon but also Visayas, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands are expected to experience scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon will continue to affect most of Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with rains over Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather conditions.
February 11-14: The effects of the shear line will begin to weaken on Tuesday, though scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are still expected over the Bicol Region and Quezon. By Wednesday, the easterlies will become the dominant weather system over the country. Fair weather conditions are expected across the country, aside from isolated rainshowers until Friday.
No significant threat of tropical cyclone occurrence was noted throughout the forecast period.
