This outlook is published by PAGASA at 12nn of Friday, May 16th and valid until 12nn of Friday, May 23rd.
MAY 17-18: The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms across Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan. Meanwhile, the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies over the rest of the country, with a chance of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms which may be accompanied by brief but heavy downpours.
MAY 19: Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with the possibility of localized rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
MAY 20-23: the ITCZ will continue to affect Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, and the Bicol Region bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with the possibility of localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.
ITCZ and Easterlies will continue to affect the whole country during this period. A Low Pressure Area (LPA) embedded along the ITCZ may form within the outlook period.
