JULY 5: Tropical Cyclone BISING will bring rains and gusty winds over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and portions of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. The tropical cyclone is forecast to move north-northwestward and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) today. Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon will affect Visayas and the rest of Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Finally, Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
JULY 6-7: Tropical Cyclone BISING is expected to recurve towards Taiwan and re-enter the PAR by Sunday. As a result, rains and gusty winds are expected over Batanes. The Southwest Monsoon, enhanced by the tropical cyclone, will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. BISING is expected to exit the PAR again by Monday.
JULY 8-11: The Southwest Monsoon will persist, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Luzon and Visayas, particularly the western sections. Meanwhile, Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
