January 25-27: Another surge of the Northeast Monsoon is expected which will bring mostly cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon, Western Visayas, and Samar Provinces. The shear line will again become apparent during this time period bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and the rest of Visayas. Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN will also be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Easterlies. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies apart from isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
January 28-29: Mostly cloudy skies with rains will be experienced over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon and Visayas due to the Northeast Monsoon. The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao. Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN will continue to be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Easterlies. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with the possibility of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
January 30-31: The shear line may propagate northward and may bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Eastern Visayas, and Central Visayas. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may prevail over Caraga, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN due to Easterlies. The Northeast Monsoon may bring mostly cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon while partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
No significant threat of tropical cyclone occurrence was noted throughout the forecast period.
