This outlook is published by PAGASA at 12nn of Friday, January 31st and valid until 12nn of Friday, February 7th.
February 1-2: As the Northeast Monsoon weakens, the Easterlies will extend their influence over the country. Consequently, warm and fair weather is expected nationwide, except for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
February 3-5: The Northeast Monsoon will intensify and affect Luzon and Visayas. The shear line will not reach the landmass. Cloudy skies with rain are expected in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon. Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon, and of Visayas will experience fair weather with isolated light rain, while Mindanao will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
February 6-7: The shear line will influence most of Visayas and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Northern Mindanao. Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon will continue to bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. The remaining areas of the Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to the shear line.
No significant threat of tropical cyclone occurrence was noted throughout the forecast period.
