This outlook is published by PAGASA at 12nn of Friday, February 14th and valid until 12nn of Friday, February 21st.
Feb. 15-17: The shear line is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley. Meanwhile, easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, extending until February 16 for Aurora and Quezon. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Davao Region and Caraga today, but fair weather conditions are expected in these areas from February 15–16. The rest of the country will experience generally fair weather, with the possibility of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Feb. 18-21: The Northeast Monsoon will begin affecting the country, particularly Luzon and Visayas, while the shear line will influence the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas. Cloudy skies with rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar. Due to the ITCZ, Davao Region and Caraga will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have generally fair weather, with isolated light rain over Luzon and Visayas and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Mindanao.
No significant threat of tropical cyclone occurrence was noted throughout the forecast period.
