A WORD FROM THE STATION MANAGER
VMPCRadio is celebrating our 2nd anniversary on the airwaves! Despite the recent challenges including the temporary exclusion of our Sunday programming from December 2024 to mid-April 2025 which led to relaunch it on Easter Sunday, and the support of our operations, we have made it through our 2nd anniversary on the airwaves since we debuted for the first time on June 12, 2023 on 89.5 FM through a limited signal reach. We also conquered the internet via livestream since we started on August 22, 2025.
We are making some changes in our programming starting this month. First is the premiere of CBC News' long-runnng primetime newscast Your World Tonight starting June 3, and airs daily at 7am PHST. NBC Nightly News made its final broadcast on VMPCRadio last May 31 on Lester Holt's final day as anchor and managing editor of the newscast.
And starting on June 9 (the resumption of Ordinary Time in the liturgical calendar), Morning Glory will begin with a daily Gospel reflection segment from the Daughters of St. Paul or Paulines Multimedia, "Bagong Umaga, Bagong Pag-Asa" which will air daily at 4:30am on Mondays-Saturdays, and 5am on Sundays, right before the usual segments.
But we will be having a mid-year break for the first time, live programming will be suspended and go off-the-air for 9 days from June 22 (Sunday) to June 30 (Monday).
Expect new and exciting shows in the latter half of the year and continue to listen to this station as we will open our annual survey in October to let us know your opinions about our station and our programming. We do also hope that we will be expanding our 89.5 FM transmission soon through a wider audience in our community.
Thank you, dear listeners and supporters. Although we are just in the infancy stage, we will continue our aim and promise to bring you news and information, music and entertainment, and inspirational contents daily.
Through God's unwavering blessings. we will and we shall continue our mission and vision of this great radio station for years to come. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
